Sexual health Sheffield update
Welcome to the latest Sexual Health Sheffield update newsletter.
You may have seen the recently reported data from the UK Health Security Agency showing that there has been a 4.7% increase in new STI diagnoses among people living in England in 2023 compared to 2022, with gonorrhoea diagnoses increasing by 7.5% and infectious syphilis diagnoses increasing by 9.4% respectively. In both cases it has been notes that these rates are higher than pre-pandemic levels. Chlamydia diagnoses have remained stable between 2022 and 2023.
