Extended access

Working with colleagues in our Network, Heeley Plus and Primary Care Sheffield we are pleased to announce that with effect from Thursday 3rd April the practice will be opening until 9pm every Thursday with GP, nurse and health care assistant appointments being available. The sessions are being covered by locum staff and whilst they will have access to your medical summary they won’t have access to your full medical records. Some appointments will be published prior to the day but some will only be available to book on the same day. When booking an appointment, if an evening appointment is suitable for you please ask reception to check for availability.

Our telephone line will still transfer at 6.30pm and the team working won’t have any access to any documents, the session is purely about providing extra appointments. The practice is only open for those patients who have an appointment, so please don’t attend if you don’t have one.

Extending the access should help with the demand that practices are under at the minute so it’s really important that if you do book an appointment that you attend. Thank you.
