Resident doctors’ industrial action

Resident doctors’ industrial action is scheduled to start from 7am on Friday 14 November until 7am on Wednesday 19 November.

This is a message from the Chief Medical officer at Sheffield teaching hospital – Our emergency department (A&E) will remain open during the strike action along with Broad Lane Walk in Centre in the City Centre, but the Minor Injuries Unit at the Royal Hallamshire will be closed from 14^th to the 18^th inclusive and reopening on the morning of the 19^th as usual.

All patients who have an appointment or procedure planned over this period will have been contacted directly to let them know if they should attend or if we have had to postpone to a later date.
