Industrial Action by Resident Doctors

Planned Industrial Action by Resident Doctors has started today and will last until Monday 22nd December.

Please carefully consider the need to go to A&E during this time.

The emergency department (A&E) will remain open during the strike action along with Broad Lane Walk in Centre in the City Centre, but the Minor Injuries Unit at the Royal Hallamshire will be closed for the duration of the industrial action.

All patients who have an appointment or procedure planned over this period will have been contacted directly to let them know if they should attend or if we have had to postpone to a later date.
