At our practice, we’re proud to partner with the University of Sheffield to help train the next generation of doctors. Through this partnership, we host medical students who are gaining hands-on experience in primary care as part of their university education. Although these students are not yet fully qualified doctors, they are enthusiastic learners who benefit from close supervision by our experienced General Practitioners—ensuring you receive safe, high-quality care at every visit.
We believe that training future clinicians is a collective effort. Every member of our team, from doctors to other clinical professionals, contributes to the learning environment by sharing real-world insights and supporting students as they master core skills. By offering practical exposure in a community setting, we help medical students see firsthand how primary care works, how it fits into the wider NHS, and how vital it is in delivering holistic patient care.
If you happen to see one of our students, you’ll not only get the benefits of their up-to-date knowledge and fresh perspectives, but also the support and guidance of a fully qualified GP. We see this collaboration with the University of Sheffield as a “go” mission—an all-systems-ready approach to shaping confident, compassionate future doctors and safeguarding the legacy of primary care for the communities we serve.
